Founding member of the jazz fusion group Permanent Vacation Larry Melton is an in
demand acoustic and electric bass player from the Baltimore/Washington music scene.
Larry has recorded with world renowned vocalist Eva Cassidy, including on her
critically acclaimed “Songbird” CD. Larry also works with Eva’s brother Dan in the
Dan Cassidy Swing Quartet performing in England. As well as a performer with the
groups Sin Miedo and Mambo Combo, The Geckos, Dan Haas, The Jarflys, Guitarist Todd Bauchspies
and a host many others.
